CoreWorker Australia ("we", "us", "our") is operated by CoreTech and provides an AI workforce platform for Australian businesses at au.coreworker.io. We are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
We collect personal information you provide when you register and use the Service, including: your name and contact details; your Australian Business Number (ABN) or, for sole traders, Tax File Number (TFN); account credentials; billing information; and the business data you enter into your workspace. We also collect technical information such as log data, device and browser information, and usage analytics.
A Tax File Number is sensitive information. Where we accept a TFN for individual verification, we handle it in accordance with the Privacy (Tax File Number) Rule 2015 and use it only for the purpose of verification — we do not on-sell it or use it for unrelated purposes.
We use personal information to: create and administer your account; provide, maintain and improve the Service; process payments and issue tax invoices; verify eligibility (ABN/TFN); operate the AI Workers you configure; communicate with you about the Service; and comply with our legal obligations. We only use your information for the purposes for which it was collected, or a directly related purpose you would reasonably expect.
The Service uses AI models to power the Workers. Content you submit to a Worker may be processed by third-party AI providers to generate responses. We take reasonable steps to limit what is shared and to work with providers under appropriate confidentiality terms. We do not use your business data to train public AI models without your consent.
We may disclose personal information to service providers who help us operate the Platform (such as hosting, payment and AI-processing providers). Some of these providers may be located overseas. Where information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the APPs.
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure — including encryption of sensitive fields and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected individuals and the OAIC of any eligible data breach as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, accounting and tax obligations. When no longer required, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.
Any commercial electronic messages we send comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) — they identify us and include an unsubscribe option. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
